NaomhEoin/O'Curry's u16s entered the Canny Cup competition hosted by Kilrush Shamrocks and proceeded safely through the quarter final stages with a good win over Doonbeg/Kilkee in Kilrush on Tuesday night November 3rd. NaomhEoin/O'Curry's had a good spread of scorers in their 3:15 tally, with goals from Danny Downes, Owen Lynch and Seamus Keane, with some good points kicked by Eoin Hanrahan, Paul Keating, Andrew Naughton, Danny Downes, Mark McQuaid, Owen Lynch, Seamus Keane, Thomas Clancy, Kieran McNamara and Tom Ryan. Art Maguire in goal kept a clean sheet, and a dominant defence kept their opponents to six points over the hour. They now await the winners of Kilrush/Killimer or Lissycasey in the semi-final.
